A Little Bit About Me
He considers himself to be an explorer-of-sorts in this amazing world, constantly seeking knowledge and looking out for answers to life’s questions.
Alhamdu'Lillah, he has been blessed with excellent academic, professional and extra-curricular track record. He was a topper through school and university, and excelled in extra curricular pursuits too. He is the recipient of several scholarships and awards in studies, extra-curriculum, sports and professional domains.
He is a candid talker who speaks fluent English, Hindi and Urdu (can speak basic Arabic), and looks for excellent communication skills in his partner too. Nothing excites his mind more than an intelligent conversation on a topic of interest.
He is well-read, well-travelled, well-mannered. His friends describe him as smart, intelligent, ambitious, hard-working and fun-loving. He is a social being who relishes the company of friends, colleagues and industry peers. He has a cheerful disposition and tries to keep his near and dear ones happy.
He plays various sports and loves traveling and doing outdoor activities with friends on a frequent basis. Although he studied engineering, he has a huge interest in poetry, literature, history, geography, psychology, philosophy, mass media, economics and polity. His peers and friends admire his skills as a creative writer, editor, orator and event organizer. He has been a national-level quizzer who represented his school and university and won prizes.
After working a couple of years in India, he relocated to the UAE in 2005 and has been working there ever since. He is ambitious right from his school days, and constantly strives to improve his knowledge and skills to face bigger challenges ahead. He has been blessed, masha’Allah, with a successful and promising career. He currently heads the contracts department in a prestigious firm in Dubai.
Notwithstanding his Islamic beliefs, he is tolerant and understanding of other faiths, cultures and beliefs. He bears a modern, scientific and liberal outlook towards life and is generally accommodating of all things within the periphery of ‘halal’.
About his family:
He comes from a middle class, educated, cultured, practicing Muslim family of north India. Father is a retired professor. Mom is a homemaker. Our parents blessed us with the best of convent schooling and university education, and all of us have excellent achievements in academics (most of us are toppers), extra-curriculum and professional pursuits.
It is one happy family masha’Allah, where there is intimate bonding, love care and support for each other.
